Extraction is client-side. If you hire us, you send the package later over a private channel — the scan itself never stores your code.

Does it work with templates?

Yes. Upload a tpl_ ZIP or a template folder packed as zip. We read templateDetails.xml, index.php, CSS/JS, html/ overrides, and legacy JHtml::_(bootstrap/behavior/jquery) calls. Huge image/font folders count toward the 60 MB ZIP limit — pack PHP/XML/CSS/JS if media makes the archive too large.
