"Existing plugin available" means we found a maintained plugin from the cart vendor or a third party in October 2026; we'll point you to it if it covers what you need. HikaShop's marketplace Square plugin redirects to Square and takes cards only, so on-site Square is a custom build. HikaShop core includes Authorize.net for one-time payments; recurring is the custom part. JoomShopping add-on listings don't state Joomla 6 support, so we treat them as unverified.

2. Feasibility check and fixed quote
A senior engineer checks the gateway API against your cart and replies within 12 hours. The quote includes a fixed price and a delivery estimate.
3. Build
A shared payment core with one adapter per cart, written as a native Joomla extension. No backward-compatibility plugin.
4. Sandbox testing
Successful, failed, cancelled and refunded payments tested in the gateway sandbox on your cart and Joomla version.
5. Package and go-live
An installable package, configured with your live keys on staging or production, plus setup notes.
6. Support and updates
Fixes after launch, and updates when the gateway API or your cart changes.
Security and PCI
Security and PCI DSS
- We recommend gateway-hosted checkout or tokenised card fields, so card data goes straight to the gateway and never touches your Joomla server. That reduces your PCI DSS scope.
- Every payment is verified on the server (signature, amount and currency) before the order is marked paid. A browser redirect alone never confirms an order.
- PCI DSS responsibility stays with the merchant and the gateway. No plugin makes a store compliant on its own, and we don't claim otherwise.
Indian stores
Razorpay and UPI for Indian Joomla stores
We integrate Razorpay's UPI, cards, netbanking and refunds as custom work, including subscriptions where the cart supports them. For one-time payments, ready-made Razorpay plugins are available on JoomlaX, the extensions brand from the Infyways team. HikaShop, Phoca Cart and JoomShopping versions run on Joomla 4.4, 5 and 6 with PHP 8.1+; the J2Commerce version needs Joomla 6 and PHP 8.3. They don't do recurring billing.
