What a barcode generator does

A barcode generator encodes text or numbers into a scannable 1D barcode or 2D QR image. This tool runs in your browser with JsBarcode and the qrcode library: pick a format, enter Content, adjust bar or QR size if needed, then Download (SVG for 1D, PNG for QR).

How to use this barcode generator

Open Barcode Format and choose a 1D or 2D option.
Type the payload in Content (use the format example as a length guide).
Optional: open Settings for bar width, height, font size, QR size, margin, or Show Text.
Download the preview from Generated Barcode.

Formats this tool supports

Retail formats such as EAN-13 and UPC follow GS1 digit-length rules. Invalid lengths will fail to render; use the sample values below as a starting point.

What barcode formats are supported?

Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC, Code 39, ITF-14, QR Code, and URL QR Code.

Does generation run in my browser?

Yes. The tool uses JsBarcode and the qrcode library client-side. Content is not uploaded to Infyways for encoding.

What file type do I download?

1D barcodes download as SVG. QR Code and URL QR Code download as PNG.

Why will EAN-13 or UPC not render?

Those formats expect a fixed digit length (and check digits). Use the sample values in the format list as a starting point.

Can I hide the human-readable text under a 1D barcode?

Yes. Open Settings and turn off Show Text when you only want the bars.

Is this barcode generator free?

Yes. You can generate and download codes without creating an account.
