Adding an IFRAME to a Joomla 2.5 Article:
The default setting in Joomla 2.5 article editor strip out the IFRAME tags out of the page. If you are inserting IFRAME into an article and facing problem then this is the most preferred way to follow. Mainly Iframe is removed from article for security purpose for hosting account as well as for site visitors as to attempt to prevent from any hidden Iframes that might lead to a malicious websites.
As there is only one way that could prevent the stripping of these Iframes is that you have to update your editor’s setting to allow the Iframe. Here the following steps will show you how to add Iframe to Joomla 2.5 article with the help of default TinyMCE editor.
Allowing IFRAMES with TinyMCE editor:
4.Click on the Editor-TinyMCE
5.Next go to list of Basic Options, remove Iframe from Prohibited Elements.(screenshots)
6.Click save changes from top right menu, and now the Iframe has been removed from the prohibited elements and now you can add Iframe to your articles.
Allow Iframes with global text filters:
1.In the top menu, hover over Site and click Global Configuration.
2.Then next click on the Text Filters tab.
3.Select No Filtering from the drop down for your super users
