With just days left for the first ever World Conference to be held in San Jose, California, from November, 2012, team Joomla released yet another version of it. The alpha 3.0 version which is expected to be replaced by a 3.1 version within 30 days makes a quite entry into the web developer’s world. The latest release aimed at resolving the backward compatibility issues by extension developers will certainly bring out drastic changes in extensions in the later versions, which are expected much sooner than previously thought.

Install Joomla 3.0 ?
The installation procedure is exactly the same as that of Joomla 2.5, but the only difference is the “Configuration” step. Joomla 3.0 allows us to choose the type of website we intend to create from its predefined types like, a blog type, a brochure type or a standard Joomla type website.
