  • Select System > Configuration
  • Select Store View to be translated in the Current Configuration Scope Menu.
  • Click ‘General’ tab in the left Configuration panel
  • Click to expand ‘Locale Options’ section
  • Select the language in the ‘Locale’ list
  • Click ‘Save Config’ button to save the changes made

Translate Magento Navigation Menus Manually

Follow the steps below to translate Magento navigation menus manually.

  • Sign in into the Admin Panel
  • Select design > Theme Text Editor
  • Click ‘Launch’ button to view an editable view of Home page
  • Select appropriate language in the ‘Language’ menu at the top of the page
  • On hovering cursor over the titles, a book icon will appear. Click on it.
  • Use ‘Script’ box to change title in the search engine bar
  • Click the ‘Tick’ icon after entering your new title
  • Click ‘Save’ button at the top of the page to save any changes made
