How to Create & Add Bundle Products in Your Magento Store

Create Bundle Product in Magento Magento allows store managers to create a customized bundle products comprising of different available products in the store. It allows users to purchase a group of related or completely unrelated set of products from the eCommerce website. This tutorial will help you how you can create and add bundle items to a bundle product in Magento run shopping carts.

Steps to Create Bundle Product in Magento Stores

  • Log in to your Magento store backend after entering the correct credentials
  • From the Admin Panel, select Catalog > Manage Products
  • Next, click on the Add Product button
  • Inside the Create Product Settings section, select the Attribute Set for the product
  • Ensure that Use Complex Product Types checkbox is selected
  • Set Product Type to Bundle Product
  • Click Continue to save the changes made

Steps to Add Bundle Items in Magento Stores

1. In the Product Information panel on the left, select the last option, Bundle Items
2. Inside the Shipment Section, set Ship Bundle Items to one of the following:

  • Together
  • Separately

3. Click the Add New Option button in the bundle items section
4. In the Default Title box, enter a label for the bundle item
5. Next, carryout the following steps:

  • Set Input Type to one of the following: Drop down, Checkbox, Radio Buttons or Multi Select
  • Set Is Required as needed
  • In the Position field, enter the order that you want this item listed in relation to other items included in the bundle.

6. Next, click the Add Selection button and carryout the following steps:

  • Click Reset Filter button to display the list of options
  • Select the checkbox for each that you wish to include on this item
  • In the Qty to Add column, enter the quantity of each item to be included

7. Click the Add Select Product(s) Option button
8. When the item appears in the Bundle Items list carryout the following:

  • If you wish to prevent users from changing the quantity of products, set User Defined Qty to No
  • Change order in which items are listed by entering a value in the Position column of each item
  • Set Default option of the item you wish to be pre-selected in the form

9. Repeat the steps from 3-7 for each item in the bundle
10. On completion, click the Save button to save the changes made to the Bundle product
